Distribution | This species often occurs near the coast, but it also found inland, up to 1000 m altitude. It is common in lowland forests, in transitional zones behind mangroves. It is distributed in the Indo-Malayan region, Indonesia, Philippines, and many of the western Pacific islands as well as in Australia. |
Bole Characteristics | It is a medium-sized or large trees up to 50 m tall. The bole characterized by dippled when mature, inner bark green, branchless for up to 22 m and up to 150 cm in diameter. |
